A fire broke out in a four-storey wooden building on Gençağa Street in Yedikule Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 05:33 and fire crews from Kocamustafapaşa, Zeytinburnu, Fatih, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa, Şişli, Seyrantepe, Sultangazi, Davutpaşa and Eminönü stations attended the incident along with paramedics. 70 firefighters in 24 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the wooden building, no one was injured or dead.
