A fire broke out at the materials in the attic and at the roof of a four-storey building on Ocak Street in Gümüşpala Neighbourhood, Avcılar. The Fire Department was called at 11:05 and firefighters from Avcılar station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated two people trapped on upper floors. Then they were delivered over to paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof and the materials in the attic, no one was injured or dead.
