Istanbul Fire Department Training Center 2019 within the scope of in-service trainings 32 hours of "Traffic Accident Response Training" 16 hours through the "fire fighter e-academy" system theoretical, 16 hours of practical training was given in our Resneli Training Facility.
Traffic Accident Response Training: Theoretical information was given about the recovery stages in traffic accidents, the structural and technical characteristics of the vehicles, and the operational work to be carried out on the vehicle. Effective use of equipment, securing vehicles and survivors, stabilization studies, glass management, door, front panel and ceiling opening techniques were applied. 5 different tracks, all of which are injured and subjected to accidents in various positions, were created, all of which were challenging, and firefighters were asked to intervene in traffic accidents in teams. Firefighters used appropriate vehicles and equipment, scenariowork to safely evacuate survivors of accidented vehicles.
