A road accident occurred in the direction of Edirne, on D-100 Highway in Muratçeşme Neighbourhood, Büyükçekmece. The Fire Department was called at 16:24 and firefighters from Mimarsinan station attended the incident. The crew, arriving at the scene soon, rescued a man stuck in the lorry, and delivered him over to paramedics. Then he was taken to hospital by the medical team.
