A fire broke out in a 24-storey building on Hızırbey Road in Fikirtepe Neighbourhood, Kadıköy. The Fire Department was called at 09:30 and fire crews from Kadıköy, Erenköy, Ünalan, Üsküdar and Kayışdağı stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was injured or dead.
