Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Fire Department serves the city with the most modern equipment. The IMM Fire Department, which is one of the most advanced fire departments in the world, has added citizens to its training program rings for its personnel. Converted into a kitchenette, a truck tours the districts of Istanbul and gives information on how to respond to the possible fire in the kitchen and to eliminate the factors that will cause the fire.

These trainings, given by the fully equipped officers of the fire department, will meet with citizens in all districts and streets of Istanbul. Children are also trained in the fire truck, during the fire without creating panic during the intervention is described as practical.

- A FIRE TRUCK MODEL FOR THE KIDS.-
The inside of the truck was equipped with items that could take place in a small kitchen. Sensors were placed on items from the stove, the saucepan, the toaster, the oven that would cause a fire in improper use. Children who have completed their training on the truck are given a fire truck model, a coloring book and a hat at the exit.

The purpose of the training program organized, “we are trying to teach to take precautions rather than intervention” by explaining the head of the IMM Fire Department Remzi Albayrak, after natural disasters, most of the casualties experienced in fires underlined.
