Istanbul Fire Department continues its training12 March 2020 Thursday
We continue our in-service trainings with fire intervention techniques and fire search & rescue training.

Within the scope of the in-service trainings of the Fire Department Training Center in 2020, the 8-hour training of the 16-hour “Fire Intervention Techniques and Fire Search and Rescue Training” has been theoretically given in İBİTEM and the other 8 hour-practical training of the the given training is being carried out in training containers at our Resneli Training Facility.

In the training, topics such as observation of the start, development and spread stages of the fire, evaluation of all the parameters affecting the fire before the intervention, planning and then intervention, performing the ventilation operation before extinguishing and saving, techniques of using fire in response to fire, search and rescue activities in the smoke environments are covered. As a result of the training, methods and capabilities such as acquiring the sensitivity of using thermal cameras and determining the most effective method with post-intervention feedbacks have been planned to be gained.
