A fire broke out in the second-floor flat of a five-storey building on 16st Street in Fevzi Çakmak Neighbourhood, Bağcılar. The Fire Department was called at 13:57 and firefighters from Bağcılar station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, evacuated 12 people trapped on upper flats and extinguished the blaze. These people were delivered over to paramedics.
