A fire broke out in a seven-storey building on Manastırlı Rıfat Street in Aksaray Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 05:47 and fire crews from Fatih and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued 33 people trapped on upper floors, and delivered them over to paramedics.
