The Istanbul Fire Department completed a three-day "fire and safety" training course at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Surgery Training Hospital. Within this scope, 41 employees from the hospital started to be trained from 21 March 2016 to 23 March 2016. The lessons carried out in the training were as follows:

• Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
• Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
• Organising an emergency response team (on the third day)

The training ended with "search & rescue in fires"and "fire" drills on the last day of the training course.
