A fire broke out in a shanty house on Edip Street in Nişantepe Neighbourhood, Çekmeköy. The Fire Department was called at 22:03 and fire crews from Yenidoğan ve Dudullu stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to neighbouring area. The fire resulted in no injuries or deaths.
