A fire broke out in the dwelling on the first floor of a two-storey building on Küçük Ayasofya Medresesi Street in Küçük Ayasofya Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 15:29 and fire crews from Fatih and Eminönü stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued one person trapped on the upper floor. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was dead.
