A fire broke out in a shanty house on İmam Mehmet Street in Silivrikapı Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 01:18 and fire crews from Kocamustafapaşa, Zeytinburnu and Fatih stations attended the incident along with paramedics. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
