A fire broke out in a flat on the basement floor of a six-storey building on Bab Naibi Street in Akşemsettin Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 06:57 and firefighters from Fatih station attended the incident along with paramedics. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued three people trapped in the dwelling. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was injured or dead.
