A fire broke out in a single-storey factory on Çakırlar Street, Kemerburgaz Road in Ayazağa Neighbourhood, Sarıyer. The Fire Department was called at 14:57 and fire crews from Seyrantepe, Kağıthane, Şişli, İstinye, Beşiktaş, Gazi, Kemerburgaz, Başakşehir, Fatih, Bakırköy, Çavuşbaşı, Bağcılar, Ümraniye, Başakşehir, Kartal, Yakacık, Kocasinan, Kadıköy, Avcılar, Hadımköy and Sultanbeyli stations attended the incident. 160 firefighters in 54 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze along with a fire-extinguishing helicopter of the Directorate General of Forestry, which responded to the incident over air. While the fire resulted in damage to the factory, no one was injured or dead.
