A fire broke out in a car which had crashed into the the barriers on Old Edirne Asphalt Road while going in the direction of Arnavutköy in Boğazköy Neighbourhood. The Fire Department was called at 12:15 and firefighters from Arnavutköy station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the vehicle, no one was injured or dead.
