A fire broke out in the old shoe factory on Süreyya İlmen Road in Yalıköy Neighbourhood, Beykoz. The Fire Department was called at 15:07 and fire crews from Beykoz, Kavacık, Çavuşbaşı, Ümraniye, Büyük Bakkalköy and Yenidoğan stations attended the incident along with paramedics. 51 firefighters in 17 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the factory, no one was injured or dead.
