A fire broke out in the two-storey penthouse at the top of a five-storey building on Bahariye Road in Mehmet AKif Ersoy Neighbourhood, Küçükçekmece. The Fire Department was called at 14:37 and fire crews from Sefaköy, Kocasinan, Başakşehir, Bağcılar, İkitelli, Sultangazi, Şişli, Seyrantepe and Hadımköy stations attended the incident along with paramedics. 64 firefighters in 24 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
