After fiercely contested competitions, the teams that made it to the finals and the firefighters who won prizes received their trophies. The awards were presented to the winning athletes by the Head of the Fire Department, Remzi Albayrak, and the regional fire department managers.

A funeral ceremony was held at Büyükçekmece fire station headquarters at 10:30, and he was laid to rest in Kayabaşı Cemetery following the noon prayer. During the visit, our Deputy Mayor thanked our heroes for their courage, dedication, and hard work in ensuring the safety and peace of Istanbul 24/7, and wished them a happy new year.

With 311 years of experience and our strengthened technological infrastructure, we were present in every corner of Istanbul and in every region of Türkiye where we were needed in 2025.

We are going to continue to work with the same dedication in 2026.

Our teams, arriving shortly after, are continuing their firefighting efforts with 89 vehicles and 244 personnel.
