After 2015, the championship, which was attended by the women athletes of the İzmir Fire Department, was organized in İstanbul in 2023, hosted by IMM.

In this year's competitions; Emin Yıldız, Furkan Sezgin, Yücel Belin, Harun Tabas broke the Turkish record in the 4x100-meter relay race with a time of 64:13 seconds, and Ceyda Cırık broke the Turkish record in the women's 100-meter race with a time of 19:39 seconds.

The official ceremony, which began with Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, 1st Army and Istanbul Garrison Commander General Metin Tokel and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu laying a wreath at the Republic Monument, ended with a moment of silence for the martyrs and the singing of the National Anthem. Following the official ceremony, which was also attended by CHP Deputy Chairman Suat Özçağdaş, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, a second ceremony was held where civil society organizations and political parties laid wreaths at the Republic Monument.

After the ceremony in Taksim, Gül, Tokel and İmamoğlu went to the Istanbul Governor's Office. The trio attended the celebrations organized for August 30 Victory Day. The citizens who showed great participation in the event added color to the parade with Turkish flags and applause, regardless of the occasional rain.
