In the Paint Varnishers Industrial Site in the Organized Industrial Zone on Atayolu Street in the Orta District of Tuzla, a fire and an explosion occurred in 6 adjacent workplaces. Upon notifications received at around 13:01, our Tuzla OIZ, Tuzla, Orhanlı, Pendik, Sultanbeyli, Dudullu, Kadıköy, Ümraniye, Kartal, Büyükbakkalköy, Kurtköy, Çavuşbaşı, Ataşehir fire teams and 112 medical emergency ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene. Our teams reached the scene in a short time and put the fire under control.
While the dead bodies of our 3 citizens working within the factory were reached due to the explosion that followed the fire, material damage occurred in the incident.
