We bid farewell to our friend Sergeant Özcan GÖK, who was seriously injured during the response to the fire in Ümraniye and was taken under treatment and later reached the rank of martyrdom, on his last journey.
Our martyr Özcan GÖK was buried in Ümraniye Kocatepe Cemetery after the funeral prayer had been held following the noon prayer at Ümraniye Kocatepe Mosque after blessings had been received at Ümraniye Fire Station where he had served. The funeral witnessed a large crowd with the participation of IMM Secretary General Mr. Can Akın ÇAĞLAR, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mr. Murat YAZICI, Ümraniye Mayor Mr. İsmet YILDIRIM, Head of Istanbul Fire Departmen Mr. Remzi ALBAYRAK, colleagues, friends and his family.
Our martyr Özcan GÖK, born in 1982, has been married and has had 3 children.
