We carried out a drill in order to intervene effectively against possible fires that may occur in the subways.
A chemical product fire and rescue drill was held with Metro Istanbul employees at the M3-M9 Olympic Campus Logistics Warehouse. As per the adapted scenario, we were notified that there was a fire noticed inside the campus and that an employee was trapped inside. Upon the notices received, Başakşehir fire teams and 112 emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene. As a result of the intervention of our teams who reached the scene in a short time, the fire was extinguished and an injured employee trapped inside was rescued and transferred to the hospital by medical crews.
After the incident, the exercise ended with the campus staff practicing extinguishing and a souvenir photo was taken.
