Dragon Boat Festival provided public and private sector employees with an adrenaline-filled weekend. In the organization where 43 teams competed fiercely, Istanbul Fire Department Dragon Team finished the races in 1st place.
Inter-institutional Dragon Boat Festival was held in Maltepe Orhangazi City Park. While 72 teams competed fiercely in the two-day festival, Istanbul Fire Department Dragon Team passed the challenging stages and finished the final in 1st place. Istanbul Fire Department Team won the DBF (Dragon Boat Festival) cup on the first day of the festival and competed in the sports category, which is the most difficult stage in the final. Our team succeeded in placing 1st in the final race.
At the end of the organization, all the top participants were rewarded with cups, medals and various gifts. The festival hosted various stage shows, dance shows and DJ performances along with boat races. Participants and visitors had the opportunity to both do sports and have fun.
