The Fire Department Week events organized by our organization, which has a deep-rooted history spanning over three centuries, began today at 10:00 with the Taksim Republic Monument Ceremony on the occasion of its 310th anniversary.
Following the moment of silence and the National Anthem, the ceremony speeches of our Deputy Secretary General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mr. Erdal Celal Aksoy and our Fire Department Head Mr. Remzi Albayrak emphasized that our 310-year-old deep-rooted organization successfully fulfilled its difficult duties. The ceremony, which we held together with our Municipal Police Department Head Metin Alper and our fire department employees, ended with our souvenir photo.
Throughout the week, we will carry out the events we have planned in the attached visual, organize training and drills, set up stands in many squares of the city and introduce our organization to our people with our mobile training vehicles and inform our people. We will commemorate our Fire Department martyrs during our visit to the cemetery.
On this occasion, we celebrate the 310th anniversary of our glorious organization and wish all our colleagues healthy working hours.
