On the Kuzey Marmara Highway, near the Cebeci Tunnel exit, heading towards Ankara, a collision took place between a truck and a commercial vehicle. The truck involved in the accident left the road and fell into a water canal next to the viaduct, causing the driver to become trapped inside the vehicle. Upon receiving reports at around 21:40, teams from Akşemsettin, Alibeyköy, Sultangazi, Habipler, Şehit Taner ÇEBİ Underwater and Surface Search and Rescue, Şişli fire stations and 112 Emergency Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the efforts of the teams, the driver, who was slightly injured, was quickly rescued from the vehicle and transported to the hospital by medical teams. Material damage occurred to the vehicles as a result of the accident.
