Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) is putting a total of 4,913 civil servant candidates through a written exam. Candidates will compete to work in the fire department and municipal police department positions with the exams to be held today and tomorrow. Firefighter and municipal police officer candidates who pass the written exam will be eligible for the practical exams. Candidates who pass the practical exams for the firefigter positions and municipal police officer positions will officially start working as civil servants in IMM. The practical exams will be held on April 7, 2025. Oral interviews for various positions will start on March 3, 2025 and continue until May 20, 2025.
The exam, which is planned to be 120 minutes per session, will be attended by 2,113 candidates in the first session for the firefighter position, 1,228 candidates in the second session, and 1,572 candidates for the police position.
