Within the framework of the cooperation between Istanbul Fire Department Fire Training Center (İBİTEM) and İGA Istanbul Airport ARFF Training Coordinators, we participated in the Aircraft Fire Simulator Intervention Training with a delegation of 18 people as the Fire Department Command Center Unit, which carries out Effective Incident Management on behalf of Istanbul Fire Department.
In the training, we were briefed by İGA ARFF Training Coordinators on the introduction of the airport campus, ARFF service buildings and vehicles, layout plans and the work done and planned to be done in case of emergency.
The information given by the ARFF Director and trainers continued with the Aircraft Fire Simulator Intervention Training. Within the scope of the visit, the technical infrastructure and development of inter-institutional communication were also discussed.
