Firefighter Week events, which will take place from September 22–26, 2025, will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Taksim Republic Monument. Throughout the week, training on fire safety and disaster awareness will be provided using mobile training vehicles in various squares across the city, and the firefighting tradition, which extends from past to present, will be shared with Istanbulites through historic firefighters' ceremonies.
Furthermore, the Edirnekapı Fire Department Cemetery and the families of martyrs will be visited to commemorate cherished memories. The "Firefighter and Personnel of the Year Award Ceremony" will be held as part of the program, where personnel who stand out for their outstanding efforts will be recognized.
