Upon receiving reports around 17:23, our Heybeliada and Büyükada fire crews were dispatched to the scene. Our Maltepe, Kartal, and Kadıköy fire crews also reached the island by landing craft and intervened in the fire. Our teams brought the fire under control and extinguished it within a short time. While there was material damage, no injuries or fatalities occurred.
