The inaugural event of the “Young Breaths, Green Tomorrows” project—organized under the “My Budget Istanbul” initiative to raise awareness among high school and university students aged 14–25—was held at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Training Center’s Resneli campus.
Young participants received information on measures to minimize fire risks during outdoor activities such as camping, picnics, and hiking; safe movement in nature; rules to be observed in camping and picnic areas; and the actions to take in the event of a fire while awaiting the arrival of professional teams.
Through this training, the young participants will contribute to strengthening environmental awareness within society, acting as conscious individuals who prioritize both their own safety and the safety of their surroundings.
