The 36th traditional fast-breaking meal was held in Beyoğlu fire station. The staff of the Istanbul Fire Department, retired personnel and their families participated in this traditional event. A show on Ottoman firefighters, as known as "Tulumbacılar" was carried out in the yard of the station. During the meal, the retired firefighters told the young ones the stories they had experienced. These traditional fast-breaking meals make a connection between the today and the past of the Fire Department by this way.
