A fire broke out in the sixth-floor flat of an eleven-storey building on Cemil Topuzlu Road in Caddebostan Neighbourhood, Kadıköy. The Fire Department was called at 19:44 and fire crews from Erenköy and Kadıköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. One person affected by smoke was rescued and delivered over to paramedics. The fire resulted in damage to the flat.
