A fire broke out on the roof a five-storey building on Karaoğlan Street in Soğanlık Yeni Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 05:49 and fire crews from Kartal, Maltepe and Pendik stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof, no one was injured or dead.
