A fire broke out in a shanty house on Fabrikalar Street in Nişantepe Neighbourhood, Çekmeköy. The Fire Department was called at 04:51 and fire crews from Ömerli, Ümraniye and Sultanbeyli stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked meticulously and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
