A fire broke out in the ground floor-flat of a four-storey building on Geyik Street on 23 Nisan Road in Armağan Evler Neighbourhood, Ümraniye. The Fire Department was called at 13:39 and firefighters from Ümraniye station attended the incident. The blaze was brought under control soon and 9 people trapped on upper floors were rescued. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was injured or dead.
