A fire broke out in a single-storey shanty house on Ayvansaray Avcıbaşı Street in Balat Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 05:14 and fire crews from Fatih and Balat stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. Two people affected by smoke were delivered over to paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
