A fire broke out in a single-storey shanty house on Sarmaşık Dead-end Street in Karagümrük Sultan Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 15:08 and fire crews from Fatih and Balat stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
