A fire broke out in a workplace on Veysel Karani Road in Mehmet Akif Ersoy Neighbourhood, Arnavutköy. The Fire Department was called at 17:28 and fire crews from Arnavutköy, Hadımköy, Başakşehir, Gaziosmanpaşa, Şişli, Seyrantepe, Bakırköy, Bağcılar, Çatalca, Avcılar, Büyükbakkalköy, Yakacık, Mimarsinan, Yenişehir, Ümraniye, Bayrampaşa and Fatih stations attended the incident. 135 firefighters in 49 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon along with paramedics, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
