A fire broke out on the second floor of a five-storey building on Prof. Dr. Celal Öker Street in Ergenekon Neighbourhood, Şişli. The Fire Department was called at 11:41 and firefighters from Beyoğlu station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was injured or dead.
