A fire broke out in a single-storey workplace on Elbasan Road in Çakıl Neighbourhood, Çatalca. The Fire Department was called at 16:10 and fire crews from Çatalca, Silivri, Mimarsinan, Avcılar, Selimpaşa, Hadımköy, Başakşehir, Şişli, Seyrantepe and Bakırköy stations attended the incident. 63 firefighters in 22 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to the neighbouring buildings. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
