A fire broke out in a four-storey wooden building on Yazmacı Tahir Street in Bostancı Neighbourhood, Kadıköy. The Fire Department was called at 18:25 and fire crews from Kadıköy, Erenköy, Maltepe, Ümraniye, Bakkalköy, Yakacık and Çavuşbaşı stations attended the incident along with paramedics. 44 firefighters in 16 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the wooden building, no one was injured or dead.
