A fire broke out in a single-storey waste paper warehouse on Ersel Street in Esentepe Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 23:07 and fire crews from Kartal, Maltepe, Pendik, Yakacık and Büyükbakkalköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the warehouse, no one was injured or dead.
