A fire broke out on the fourth storey of a four-storey workplace on Kehribarcı Street in Merkez Neighbourhood, Gaziosmanpaşa. The Fire Department was called at 13:22 and fire crews from Eyüp Sultan, Bayrampaşa, Gaziosmanpaşa and Fatih stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated 8 people trapped on upper floors. 2 people affected by smoke were taken to hospital by paramedics. The fire resulted in damage to the workplace.
