A fire broke out in a three-storey wooden building on Sepetçi Selim Street in Katip Kasım Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 16:35 and fire crews from Fatih, Eminönü, Zeytinburnu, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the wooden building, no one was injured or dead.
