An explosion occurred on the natural gas pipeline on Akören - Kadıköy way in Kadıköy Neighbourhood, Silivri. The Fire Department was called at 17:26 and fire crews from Silivri, Çatalca, Mimarsinan and Avcılar stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, responded to the incident in order to prevent the flames from spreading to the surrounding. The fire was then controlled by the closure of the pipeline. The incident resulted in no injuries or casualties.
