A fire broke out in a room on the first floor of a six-storey hotel on Şekerci Street in İskenderpaşa Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 21:29 and fire crews from Fatih and Bayrampaşa stations attended the incident along with paramedics. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated 22 people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in partial damage to the hotel, no one was dead.
