A fire broke out in a derelict building on Yavrukuş Street in Kuştepe Neighbourhood, Şişli. The Fire Department was called at 11:56 and fire crews from Şişli and Mecidiyeköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the dwelling, no one was injured or dead. Also the firefighters, realizing some kittens in the building, rescued and took them to a safer place.
