A fire broke out in a shanty house on Iskete Street in Kanarya  Neighbourhood, Küçükçekmece. The Fire Department was called at 06:44 and fire crews from Yenimahalle and Sefaköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued three people affected by smoke. They were taken to hospital by paramedics. The fire resulted in damage to the shanty house.
