October 29 Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm of the citizens on Vatan Road
Due to the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, ceremonies were held on Vatan Road by Istanbul Governorship. Mayor Mr. Mevlüt Uysal, Governor Mr. Vasip Sahin and 1st Army Commander General Musa Avsever attended the ceremony on Vatan Road. Citizens and students with Turkish flags became part of this enthusiasm. A team of firefighters from Istanbul Fire Department marched on the road passing by the Governor, Mayor and citizens and received cheering from enthusiastic viewers.
