A fire broke out in a scrapyard on Çobanyıldızı Road in Çavuşoğlu Neighbourhood, Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 13:32 and fire crews from Kartal, Pendik, Maltepe, Yakacık and Kurtköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the scrapyard, no one was injured or dead.
